Grenada Heritage Day July 17th 2010

Youth Street Beats was recommended by a committee member to perform at this event on Saturday 17th July. The organisers wanted the children to perform for the Mayor of Harrow, Mr Asad Omar and other dignitaries from the Grenada High Commission in London.

Once again the sun was shining and the children really put on a great performance, so much that they performed twice Even later on in the afternoon with only a few children remaining, they wanted to perform again especially because the audience was greater.

Youth Street Beats was recommended by a committee member to perform at this event on Saturday 17th July. The organisers wanted the children to perform for the Mayor of Harrow, Mr Asad Omar and other dignitaries from the Grenada High Commission in London.

This is such a positive response from the children and further
shows that Youth Street Beats is achieving its aims.

“It’s so nice to see the children get up there and do their thing! They are all so confident. It’s such a wonderful group that you have set up, I can’t wait to see your Christmas Production in December, I’ve heard so much about them!"

"My mum is Grenadian and I was feeling proud that I could perform here. I love performing our dance. I found the Bollywood dancing hard at first because you have to go in different directions, but now I can do it with my eyes closed"
